C E N I N A B. S A X T O N, Ed. D., S H R M - C P, P H R (S H E / H E R/ HERS)

 

Dr. Saxton is an experienced leader with a proven track record in helping companies navigate cultural and marketplace transformations. Having more than 20 years of experience in talent management, she has led cultural change in Fortune 100 companies.

As a professional, she is highly experienced in conducting executive leadership assessments, coaching, providing change management consulting, and leading large-scale transformations across small and large organizations alike. Saxton is commonly referred to as a non-traditional disrupter and influencer who deeply cares about organizational culture, helping to shape its internal and external impact positively.

Dr. Saxton lends her career expertise to academia, where she holds the position of Adjunct Instructor with the American Intercontinental University. Since joining the faculty in 2015, she has facilitated numerous courses, served as a mentor for new faculty, and contributed to an adaptive learning environment through innovative course design. By many of her students, Saxton is referred to as the “cool doc” as she has a knack for connecting with her learners and meeting them where they are on their learning journey. Her collaborative instructional approach afforded her nomination in the area of instructional excellence over the past few years.

Cenina’s educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Adult Education from the University of Georgia. Her dissertation was titled: Organizational Lifecycle In Non-Profit Board Start-Up Organizations. Additionally, she is a certified Hogan Feedback Coach, Professional in Human Resources, and SAFe Agilist & Program Consultant.

In her spare time, she enjoys long walks in the park along with an occasional run. A self-proclaimed foodie, she enjoys road trips, weekend getaways, and exploring unique travel destinations with friends and family. She is a passionate community activist who  volunteers her time to  youth development.
